YMCA Cheltenham is seeking a Media and Communications Specialist to join the organisation.

The specific nature of this role – in particular the requirement to successfully interact and engage with Christian communities throughout Gloucestershire - will require the post-holder to be an active and genuine adherent to the Christian faith.

The Media and Communications Specialist is responsible for the effective dissemination of messaging and information delivered internally and externally of YMCA Cheltenham using all means available within the budgetary constraints of the Charity.

The role supports the Charity’s strategic objectives by ensuring communication are of high quality, contain integrous information, while also ensuring that information in the public domain is current, meaningful to its intended audience and supports the reputation and good-standing of the charity.

The role is also responsible for effective engagement with the Christian communities throughout Gloucestershire, and, in particular within the communities in which the Charity currently or intends to operate. This includes the delivery of messaging and information about the Charity delivered within a specifically Christian context and framework.
