Book Blest

The first-ever Christian book festival for Stroud (possibly the UK)!

Book Blest takes place in Stroud Baptist Church on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th November 2022. 15 different Christian authors from all over the country are appearing at this is an event.

If you are a reader, writer or just enjoy a good story you are guaranteed a great weekend. We all have a book inside of us, so come along and find out how to get it out there.

A highlight of the festival is an evening with Sophie Nevile (4th November @ 7.00pm). Sophie grew up in Stroud and was a reluctant child film star, now a successful author. Her story will inspire you and make you laugh.

Authors Clive Dale and Margaret McAllister will provide two entertaining childrens’ storytimes, whilst Brendan Conboy (Half Man Half Poet) will provide an hour of soaking in the Psalms in Rhyme and 45mins of performance poetry.

Come along and buy signed copies of some fantastic Christian books and meet the authors.
